FILTER's RICHARD PATRICK: Feud With FRED DURST Was Big Miscommunication
August 13, 2002FILTER's Richard Patrick and LIMP BIZKIT's Fred Durst have finally settled their differences after a brief spat carried out via their respective band's web sites.
Patrick told Launch the whole incident was a big miscommunication. "It was," he said. "[Fred] prefers to go ahead and have arguments in the press. I don't. I have a private life and I like to not have to rebuttal against things that he says. All that being said, he's in a different world now. He's really trying to focus on the LIMP BIZKIT record, and I'm proud of him. We're friends again, and I email him all the time so it's a good thing. He's Fred and I'm Richard. [In British accent] We just have to be conscious of that, really."
